Do you know about terrorism? What is Terrorism, where does it come from, and who does it? How many countries have been affected by terrorism? How many people have suffered because of it?
Let's talk about terrorism today. Hello, my name is Sachin Dwivedi, and I write about real events.
Terrorism has affected almost all countries, including the United States, India, Iraq, Russia, and Afghanistan. In India, terrorism has been going on for 70 years, with Jammu and Kashmir being the most affected. You might remember the World Trade Center attack in the U.S., where many people were affected, and over 180 lives were lost. The U.S. took revenge almost 13 years later. This was a horrific event. The U.S. army tracked down the attackers and killed them in their own country. We’re talking about Osama bin Laden, who was hiding in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The U.S. Special Forces carefully planned and successfully killed Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad.
Now, let's talk about how many times terrorists have attacked India, affecting both the public and the army. One of the most shocking attacks was on 26/11, when terrorists attacked the Taj Hotel in Mumbai, killing many people. Pakistan took responsibility for that attack, and the entire city of Mumbai was drenched in blood. India has faced countless such attacks.
I want to remind you about the terrible events of January 19, 1990, in Kashmir, when millions of Kashmiri Pandits were killed, women were raped, and children were butchered. The Indian army sacrificed blood to protect Kashmir and save everyone. After that, India’s Parliament was attacked, followed by the Uri attack and the Pulwama attack. Thousands of soldiers lost their lives, and many soldiers sacrificed their lives for Kashmir.
When the Uri attack happened in Kashmir, 18 soldiers were martyred, and the entire country mourned. Revenge was necessary. The Indian army then made a successful strategy and entered Pakistan, killing terrorists in their own land.
What is Terrorism
Ending terrorism is essential for humanity. It destroys everything – us, our future, and our children. It affects everyone. Terrorism has caused so much loss in Kashmir, it’s hard to count, but Kashmir is still not in their hands and never will be. Today, India has become a strong country. The Indian army stands firm in Kashmir, facing terrorism with courage. Our hearts are with our soldiers. The Indian army is professional and honest. It has successfully completed many difficult operations.
